I feel blessed to be an orthodontist and absolutely love my profession! I love getting to know our patients and their families, and really love seeing the positive impact orthodontic treatment can have on a person’s life.
Many people come in self-conscious about their teeth, or they might have trouble properly chewing. Some come in with poor oral hygiene because their teeth are in positions that make it difficult to properly clean. Whatever the case may be, I am honored to be able to help each person improve their oral health, function, and appearance with a healthy and confident smile!
I’ve been practicing orthodontics for about a decade. I chose healthcare because I love working with people, and dentistry because I enjoy working with my hands. During dental school, orthodontics called out to me because patients were excited about their treatment, had less anxiety, and it was fascinating to see people transform as their smiles changed.
I am passionate about creating beautiful smiles. Seeing the difference from beginning to end and seeing the impact this has on all parts of our patient's lives is immensely fulfilling. Because treatment usually takes about two years, we have time to get to know each other. I love learning who each person is, sharing in their lives, and encouraging them to do great things!

I am always looking at ways to improve my skills and knowledge as an orthodontist. Continuing education keeps me up to date on current orthodontic trends and technology and ensures patients receive the best possible treatment available. I want to make sure our patients finish with a stable, wonderful smile.
I attend annual meetings of multiple orthodontic associations, take online and local classes, and complete courses through the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. In addition, I’m enrolled in the Invisalign® Pro continuing education program.

Beyond the Practice
I grew up in Longview, TX, and now live in Brenham with my family. My beautiful wife Kirby was previously a special education teacher. She worked in her field until we began to have children and now she is a stay-at-home mom. We have a young daughter, Olivia, and another baby girl on the way. We are also the proud parents of two West Highland White Terriers, Hoover and Bess, and are members of First Baptist Church of Brenham.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my family. We enjoy watching our favorite TV shows together, traveling, and being outdoors. I also like playing golf and tennis and attending live sporting events.
